Our services
We offer individual and group lessons, catered to your needs, experience, and goals, in a positive learning environment. We'll ride in the covered arena on rainy days, and outside when the weather allows. Please come with boots or close toed shoes, water, and any personal necessities.
Every lesson includes both skill building time, and free time to ride and practice new skills. Our longer lesson format gives the opportunity to build a bond with your horse and enjoy more than just the learning side, perfect for those who want more horses in their lives, without the commitment of leasing or ownership.

Lead line sessions for the littlest riders!
1 hour including grooming and tacking up time. Contact for availability.
Friday 10:00am
Hour long group lesson for intermediate and advanced students. $50
Wednesdays and Thursdays - 1:00pm and 3:00pm
For the horse crazy student! 2 hour group sessions, maximizes ride time and learning, with a combination of instruction and open riding time. Intermediate and advanced riders.

Your first steps into horsemanship
In your first few sessions at Carlton Horseback Rides, you'll learn the essential basics to build a strong foundation. This includes understanding horse behavior, proper grooming techniques, saddling and bridling, and fundamental riding aids. We focus on creating a safe and confident start, ensuring you develop a connection with your equine partner. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way, fostering a positive and encouraging learning experience that sets the stage for advanced skills.
